AWS’ Solids Recovery Module (SRM) is a proven, reliable, automated, safe, quiet, skid-mounted module that requires no day-to-day maintenance. It is self-cleaning and is designed to automatically run 24/7. It currently operates in a number of other industry applications around the world.. The Solids Recovery Module is unique in that 1) it removes 98% of solids down to five microns in size (90% is considered excellent); 2) it has patented features that allow it to withstand the very caustic nature of animal wastes, creating i) very high uptime/low downtime, ii) lower maintenance costs, and iii) greater overall productivity; and 3) it substantially removes the specific nutrients that cause the most problems in land irrigation/application and water pollution. The SRM removes 98% of the suspended solids from the waste stream, thus removing 90% of phosphorous from the water and producing a dry, non-leaching solid that can be easily handled and transported. The combination of low down time, high separation effectiveness and the dryness of solids output allow AWS to use the SRM as a primary component of its unique, patent-pending process. The AWS SRM 50 provides solids-liquid separation for flushed wastes (8% solids or lower) for ~ 700 cows or 3000 hogs (larger configurations are available; see "Specs" below) Characteristics:
Specs SRM 50: 10 to 50 gpm SRM 100: 40 to 100 gpm SRM 200: 80 to 200 gpm SRM 240: 150 to 240 gpm SRM 375: 200 to 375 gpm |

AWS’ Gas Production Module (GPM) is a proven, reliable, automated, simple and safe, modular, low-maintenance solids treatment process that virtually eliminates solid animal wastes while destroying dangerous / hazardous effluents and emissions, while enabling production of valuable by-products. The Gas Production Module is unique in that 1) it has the lowest exhaust measurements for NOX and SOX in the combustion industry (the proprietary burner technology is already recognized as best available control technology in three combustion applications by the most stringent Air Quality Management District in the U.S.); 2) it creates high volumes of “pipeline quality” gas in terms of btu content, with minimal amounts of CO2 and sulfur (thus lowering costs to remove these for pipeline use); and 3) it combusts 95% of the solids, leaving just 5% residual ash (readily marketable) versus 30-40% residual solids/sludge (requiring further treatment) from other gasification technologies and digesters. Use of the gasifier to process animal waste in the AWS system is a new application of a proven technology that has been used in other waste processing applications since 1996. The AWS GPM 1500 gasifies hog, dairy, beef, poultry and/or horse manure; it will process the wastes of ~ 700 cows or 3000 hogs (larger configurations are available; see “Specs” below) Characteristics: GPM (GPM 1500 defined below):

In summary, AWS provides a total solution to the pollution problems that adversely affect the industry while also providing highly attractive economics. AWS’ central plant approach puts the SRM on farms and the GPM offsite allowing de-centralized nutrient reduction and centralized energy production. The liquids remain on the farm for re-flush and/or irrigation/fertilization, and the solids are trucked to a centralized GPM for energy production. Complete on- farm systems are available under a modified central plant arrangement. The SRM can have stand alone applications for many farms (production of fertilizer, bedding, etc.).
